Default Gnome - new radio add-on for Sky digibox

This looks interesting. It could replace my illegalish low power transmitter &
powermid combo for listening to the radio in the bedroom.

This was mentioned here recently. I wonder if the launch date will
coincide with the supposed upcoming change to EPG radio channel
numbers?

Looks & sounds good, I wonder if you can listen to any channel independantly of what the box is set to
channel wise?

As I understand it, the output will be the same as what the box is playing
at that time.

Anyone know if this will work with non-subscribers boxes?

It obviously has to be on the same channel as the digibox transmits to the Gnome
receiver.

I certainly hope so as I already have one non-sub digibox dedicated to radio & a
couple of these Gnomes would be perfect around the house.

I shouldn't think so as it will still be dependent on the Sky tuner in the
sky box (won't it?)
