Default Sky Package - New Mix question re Sky News

Hi

looking at the press release at http://tinyurl.co.uk/4du1 I see that the only
news channel I watch in the News & Events mix is Sky News. Its a pity to
subscribe to a mix for just one channel especially as I want four of the others
and would have to subscribe to all six to get Sky News. However Sky News
has a note that it is "avaliable without a sky viewing card" (so I guess it is
freeview or the like).

If I don't subscribe to the News & Events Mix, can I still get Sky News with
my other mix selections? Because if its avaliable without a Sky viewing card, it
seems silly that can't get it with a viewing card and a subscription!

You WILL be able to get it anyway! Sky News is not encrypted and is
receivable with any other combination of "Mixes"

Sky News is FTA - Free To Air, no subscription required, no card required, so
therefore you can use a real satellite receiver to view the channel as well as
the Sky dodgy box.
