I'm going to cancel my Sky subscription and revert to Skyfreesat for a few
months. I use a Sky + box, will I be able to connect a video recorder to the Sky + box and use that for recording since the recording facitility on the box will be disabled? Thanks |

You do of course have the option of continuing to pay the UKP 10 a month for the Sky+ functionality, but dropping your channel subscription (using it to only record the free channels). Apparently it can take some work to convince the Sky people that this is allowed, but a number of people have done it. Andy |

Personally I ask "Allowed??, It should be free to record to start with!" T.W. |

Thought you could still manually record with the sky+ without subscription?
