Default Reposition to 16East

I currently have an 80cm dish which is pointed towards 19.2e. I then have 2
offsets LNB`s. One pointed at 13e and the other quad output pointed at
28.2e.

For my 19.2e and 13e viewing I use a Nokia 9800s receiver.

I am thinking about repositioning my dish to receive 16e.

Firstly would my receiver be capable of receiving the CBS feeds at 16e.

Secondly would pointing the dish at 16e and have an offset for 28.2e be ok
for my location. I live in NW London?

Cheers

I only have Sky reception, via a minidish, and you really need somebody
who's done it to answer this question. Why not try asking in
www.satellites.co.uk ? There's lots of experts there!

However .....

The problem with dual lnbs, especially with big offset, is focussing
the 2 beams onto them. However, it seems you've already got a similar
very wide offset!

In theory, then, you can re-adjust 13 to 16 deg without too much
trouble, by re-adjusting the fixing bracket, as long as you're careful
not to move the other lnb!

Adjusting 2 lnbs on one dish, starting from scratch, is a bit tedious
(iterative), and you'd need something like a 2 input digisat "meter",
so be careful!

I haven't looked at the CBS feeds (on www.satcodx.com). The Nokia
should allow selection of transponder parameters, including bitrates.
But note, many "feeds" (as distinct from network broadcasts) use MPEG
4.2.2 coding, which most sat receivers can't decode.
