Best I can tell, I have done everything correctly.
Latest Desktop s/w I have gone to tivo.com and allowed transfers I have published music and photos. correct adapter When I go to Tivo on my PC, and check settings I get signal strength excellent, the network is found, and, when I check connection, I get 'Connected.' I have set up the IP address to the server. Yet, when I try to get photos I get a message saying it can't fine the server. Now what? |

If you have a firewall router open it wide up on the LAN side. |

Or perhaps you have IP and/or MAC filters enabled. I would also disable WiFi
security during initial setup, just to eliminate it as a cause. Make it as simple as possible for connection to be established, THEN add back IP/MAC filters, security, etc. Jim "Jack Zwick" wrote in message ... If you have a firewall router open it wide up on the LAN side. Well, I can go into Norton Firewall and disable it. Still can't get Tivo to connect. Umm, just out of curiousity - what server address does it want - router or PC (the one with the pictures)? |

Don't know for sure but I know my laptop can share folders as long as Norton Firewall is disabled. |
