Default Hurray for red dot removal

Just noticed this new feature had been implemented on my box. Hurray & well
done!

Now, if we can please have an option to make it 1 second (or 0 seconds), and
then the same thing for channel IDs (yes I know it is impossible... but
still)

And if "This programme is about to start" didn't arrive two minutes into a
programme, rather than before it, time after time, we'd have a half-decent
product.

Geoff.

Not to mention scrolly messages, squashed credits & intrusive continuity
announcers...

Yes, that in particular ****es me off, especially since it seems to
happen most in shows I'm trying to record. And if you aren't recording
it live, you miss the start...

On one channel (either Bravo or UKTV Gold or Men & Motors, I can't
remember which), the continuity announcer sometimes comes on in the
middle of the program until suddenly cut off by someone, it's just
pathetic and amateurish.

i just set the timer on the programme before the one i want to watch.

So do I, as long as I'm not trying to record a program just before it,
