Default Fujitsu Vs. JVC

so i've been doing some research about plasma monitors and i've got it
down to two different brands, both 50", hi-def, monitors. I'm looking
at the Fujitsu and the JVC. From what i can tell the JVC is the exact
same model as the corresponding Panasonic, which receives very high
marks. The Fujitsu on the other hand, doesn't get as high marks on
image quality (this is coming from plasmabuyingguide.com) but the
Fujitsu does have more inputs. In particular, it has 2 component
inputs and a DVI input. The Panasonic only has one component input and
no DVI input. To be perfectly honest i have no idea what any of this
means (or what a DVI input is, what it does or if i need one),
but one sales guys says it's important the other says it's
meaningless and if i want for an extra charge i can have a board added
to the Panasonic that will add all the other inputs.

If both of these sets are of equal price does anyone have an advice on
which to buy?

Thanks.

The fact is the Fujitsu is recognized by almost everybody in the AV community
as having the best picture quality. A word of caution about the
"plasmabuyingguide": They are NOT allowed to sell Fujitsus and therefore you'll
find they are about the ONLY source that had a somewhat negative review of the
Fujitsu. Take a look at the comments by owners of not only Fujitsu, but
Panasonic, Pioneer etc. Almost every owner of ANY brand of plasma acknowledges
that the Fujitsu has the best picture quality. It does. Also keep in mind that
the Fujitsu is based on the Panasonic plasma (that the same Plasmabuyingguide
raves about!!...of course they CAN sell Panasonics....beginnning to see the
picture here?). O.K., so what makes Fujitsu superior to the Panasonic it's
based on? The AVM scaler. The Fujitsu is known to have the best video scaler of
any plasma in the industry. This makes a difference in the final picture
quality. Also keep in mind that the Fujitsu gives you a 3 year guarantee as
opposed to a one year.

If you can get these at the same price, don't hesitate, get the Fujitsu. As I
said, check out the AVS forum and you'll see my remarks reflect the vast
majority of sentiment from ALL plasma owners. Good luck!

Yeah, sure. If you say so. Like "ALL" plasma owners post there. I
suspect that the "vast majority" of plasma owners don't even know that
that forum exists.

Matt, you have to get involved in issues that don't concern you. If you read
the post and understand English, it was implied from my post that "ALL" refers
to "ALL on the forum". Are you ever going to contribute anything of substance
here other than English lessons? You are unreal. Besides, those on AVS are more
familar with plasmas in general since they've done more research. The fact that
they are ON the AVS forum is indicative of that.

If you used English (and logic) correctly, there would be nothing to
comment on.

BTW, I seem to contribute quite a bit of useful information here. Of
course, I also respond to topics other than those about plasma displays.

If you weren't ANAL, you would know damn well what I meant. You are pathetic
and contribute NOTHING of substance to a converstation. I gave good advice,
took my time to do it and you submit an absolutely BIZARRE reply. Besides MATT
the response was NOT directed at you. Why don't you let people make up their
own minds by doing their OWN research.

BTW, I seem to contribute quite a bit of useful information here

Yeah Matt, in the use of verbs, tenses and adjectives....NOTHING ELSE.

Of
course, I also respond to topics other than those about plasma displays.

But when you see me post ANYTHING about plasmas that mysterious force comes
over you and you find you MUST make a fool of yourself. Have at it Matt.

You should say what you mean.

and contribute NOTHING of substance to a converstation.

Other than correcting your mis-information?

I suspect there are others who don't care for your hyperbole.

Besides MATT
the response was NOT directed at you.

Have you not figured out that a newsgoup is a _PUBLIC_ forum? If you
want to have a private conversation, use email.

Why don't you let people make up their
own minds by doing their OWN research.

Where in this thread did I suggest that others shouldn't do their own
research?

BTW, I seem to contribute quite a bit of useful information here

Yeah Matt, in the use of verbs, tenses and adjectives....NOTHING ELSE.

Your hyperbole is showing.

Of
course, I also respond to topics other than those about plasma displays.

OK, that's true, you also respond to bob miller.

But when you see me post ANYTHING about plasmas that mysterious force comes
over you and you find you MUST make a fool of yourself. Have at it Matt.

Hardly. Why do you take yourself so seriously. You are just not that
important. If you were, you might actually know how to form a thought
into a sentence.

I'm sure everybody else that read it knew what I mean. It's funny that ONLY YOU
were the one to comment like that. ONLY YOU. You are beyond help, utterly
utterly beyond help. Start contributing something other than English essays.
UNREAL!!!!!!!!!

Other than correcting your mis-information?

You just can't handle ANYTHING remotely positive about plasmas. It turns your
stomach. Were you ever beaten up by a plasma when you were a kid or were you
just beaten up by everybody? You seem VERY frustrated.

I suspect there are others who don't care for your hyperbole.

There was no "hyperbole". The hyperbole is only a part of the anti plasma
psychosis that you seem to suffer from. Matt, you have some type of serious
problem that needs attention.

Your hyperbole is showing.

Your psychosis is showing.

OK, that's true, you also respond to bob miller.

Sometimes I think you ARE Bob Miller. Funny that you don't correct my grammar,
"hyperbole" or other assorted writing defects when I respond to Bob Miller.
Interesting.

Hardly. Why do you take yourself so seriously. You are just not that
important. If you were, you might actually know how to form a thought
into a sentence.

By the way MATT, "hardly" is not a sentence. It is not me who takes himself
seriously, it is YOU. One needs only read the posts from the "God" of English
to see who it is that really takes himself seriously. Apparently I'm a VERY
important part of your life Matt or you wouldn't feel COMPELLED to respond to
everything I say about plasmas. You are a sicko.

Actually, Vidguy, the way I read it, with your capitalized "ALL", it
appeared that you were referring to all plasma owners. Matthew just seems
to be the only one who bothers to argue the point with you. Once again you
are extrapolating your assumptions to a greater population.

And Matthew, you get the "pedantic asshole" award this week...

Can't you guys drop it.
