Has anyone got a Phantom PVR and if so is it easy to use etc?

Do you recommend it?

If this is the gizmo that is supposed to control a VCR from the Sky digibox then
I have one. Never could get it to work. Should have requested a refund I
suppose. Maybe it was just my VCR &/or my digibox but for me it is totally
useless.

I'm surprised you had trouble. I've had two or three for various
people and they all worked fine.

One thing i did pick up about these, was that 2 out of 3 I had came
with dead battery giving the impression the unit was faulty. There is
nothing in the docs that say you need to replace the battery, but of
course you can.
I gave up on mine as I couldnt rely on it to work every time.
