Default Cancelled Sky Today

Hi All

Moving to my girlfriends and she has Sky Plus and extra box in bedroom so
today was the day I called sky to cancel.

They asked for my reason to cancel and at that point Crazy Frog appeared on
TV.

Like a little devil I said , "Crazy frog adverts are driving the house round
the twist. Thats why were stopping it. It is stopping us enjoying TV"

I phoned up yesterday to give my 30 days notice. I`ve been on the 50% sky
package for a year now (they just kept extenting it whenever I phoned to
cancel). This time when he said he couldn`t offer another 50% extention I
just said "that`s ok" (I wasn`t that fussed really), he quickly piped up: I
can extend it for another couple of months at 40% though. He was practically
begging me to stay. It`s odd that when some people cancel they don`t seem to
get even one offer. I wonder how they choose who gets offered what.

Yeah, I often wondered. $ky have never chased me to see if I'd be
interested in re-subscribing at a cheap rate. Strange. However, it might
have something to do with the reasons I gave for cancelling: sick to
death of the red dot, endless adverts, endless repeats, poor value for
money. From what I've seen of $ky lately round friends' houses who still
have $ky, my reasons for cancelling still seem to holding true.

There's no argument they could use against that!

Way to go! Sky will kick that f*cking ad right out of town if they
realise it's costing them more money than it's bringing in.
