Default What I Get for 2.8 UKP/month?

UKP 2 points 8 /month. (2.8) What I get here in Hungary?

Cable TV with the following programmes:

- All Discovery channels (Science, Animal, Discovery, Civilisations,
etc) (most of them in Hungarian, some programmes in english with
Hungarian subtitles)

- National Geographic (in Hungarian)
- 15 other Hungarian programs including Minimax (Children)
- Eurosport
- Cartoon/TNT
- Sport 1 (Hungarian sport channel, no commercials)
- Local television
-
Ok, in some cities this can be 4 or 5 UKP/month but then it includes
Fox Kids and BBC Prime.

That's for SKY's 20 UKP/month with "UK Foods" and similar sh*t
channels.

Yes but who wants to watch Hungarian programming even for 2.8 points
(whatever they may be) plus you'll find the cost of living is that much
higher in the UK, bare that in mind whilst you sit down to your "Turnip
Surprise" tonight

It's also for ten times as many channels as you get for "2 points 8" a
month.

Oh, and the channel is called UK FOOD. F-O-O-D.

Probably not in Hungary where the poster mentioned though ;-)

I fail to see the *loads more channels* tale with Sky...I wonder how many
subscribers like myself can come to a certain part of the day/evening and
find *nothing on* (Even Skys FTA/FTV service has *loads of channels but that
is just shopping/god channels and those stupid text all over screen
channels)

It'd be interesting to see how many people actually find the bundled
channels and also find them worth watching?

I think most people think *It's encrypted,I'm paying for it so it must be
fairly good*?

I'm quite expecting a *Crazy Frog Channel* the way the advertisings going
and no doubt boasting *Exclusive on Sky* :-(

Heh! Thinking about,They could now cash in on software that eons old
too..Just revamp the old *Frogger* ;-)

If you're moaning about the UK being a rip off, compared to Hungary,
that's a bit rich. At least in the UK, we tend to offer something at a
price and actually charge that price. We spent a few days in Budapest
and in just about every bar and restaurant, we were charged far more
than the prices shown. They seem to add a 'tourist tax' to everything.
To be honest, it happened that often, we gave up complaining and just
decided it was somewhere not to return to.

Just like the US then where prices always seem to omit sales tax.

so why did you pay it ??? I sat down and said are these prices that I pay
without any extras/taxes/charges ???? They said yes and when the bill came
I told them what I would pay and they accepted it. Why let people bully you
and rip you off ???
