No. It is having exactly the opposite effect. the first Frog tone made them OVER £10 MILLION!!! I am sure this next one will be pretty close too. This form of aggressive campaigning is because they know that anything could be the next fad that sad muppets cling onto whilst parting with masses of £1.50 per tones! In other words, get them while it's "cool". Silly sad persons. surely there's someone we can complain to? I'll stick with radio for music (or Music Choice) and rather not judge by how a person looks half dressed and be told "This is a great song" when it's reall manufactured crap. I've seen the damned advert on UK Gold,Sky One and ITV,Sometimes twice in one commercial break! The one thing that made me laugh once about the Ad was when they had to start putting the block over the frogs dangly bits. Anyone for shoving a banger up the little gits a*s?? wrote in message oups.com... Frog down the throat You can't seem to switch on ITV or Sky these days without coming across the Jamsters Ring Tones Ads. This aggressive campaign must be costing them a fortune and I can't help feeling may have a negative effect by the overkill frequency of the ads. The frog I assume, is supposed to be wacky, but it comes over as just grotesque. And that 'Sweety the chick' thing gives me the creeps. These seem to have been made by people who can't remember what it was like to be a child and I guess that attitude is probably the selling point. It's urban and streetwise and it's like cute and wacky viewed through a drug induced hallucination. I know I'm not their target audience, for I find little to interest me in how a phone rings, and even if you don't agree with my opinion on their creations, I do think they overdone it with the Ads. Clive http://www.geocities.com/clivemcgee/index.html seems like everyone is using these tones these days, awful i know, but thats life. i've gone back to a standard "ring ring" tone which nowadays is unheard of. |

I have nothing against people having personalised ringtones, but can't for the life of me understand why people pay so much for them when it relatively straightforward to make your own, and I understand even less why anyone would want to pay to have the same ringtone as everyone else. Silly sad persons. Agreed. Loz |
