No. It is having exactly the opposite effect. the first Frog tone made
them
OVER £10 MILLION!!! I am sure this next one will be pretty close too. This
form of aggressive campaigning is because they know that anything could be
the next fad that sad muppets cling onto whilst parting with masses of
£1.50
per tones! In other words, get them while it's "cool".

Silly sad persons.

surely there's someone we can complain to? This has to be classed as
mental abuse

Seems weird to me that most have mentioned the music channels ( Which I
don't watch...What's the point of getting No1 just by flashing the most
clevage,Certainly a crap way of doing it?)
I'll stick with radio for music (or Music Choice) and rather not judge by
how a person looks half dressed and be told "This is a great song" when it's
reall manufactured crap.

I've seen the damned advert on UK Gold,Sky One and ITV,Sometimes twice in
one commercial break!

The one thing that made me laugh once about the Ad was when they had to
start putting the block over the frogs dangly bits.
Anyone for shoving a banger up the little gits a*s??

:O) The reason I mentioned music channels is the adds seem to come
much closer together on those. I don't know if it's true but it feels
that way, and I used to enjoy channel hopping during add breaks, but
now it is just too easy to hit that ferkin frog and frends over and
over (Not that I wouldn't like to hit the little ****s)

BTW, if you want a superb ringtone fre, download the 'exterminate'
tone from the Dr Who website, it can make a whole pub stop in its
tracks!! It really is loud & grating!

You can't seem to switch on ITV or Sky these days without coming
across the Jamsters Ring Tones Ads. This aggressive campaign must be
costing them a fortune and I can't help feeling may have a negative
effect by the overkill frequency of the ads.
The frog I assume, is supposed to be wacky, but it comes over as just
grotesque. And that 'Sweety the chick' thing gives me the creeps. These
seem to have been made by people who can't remember what it was like to
be a child and I guess that attitude is probably the selling point.
It's urban and streetwise and it's like cute and wacky viewed through a
drug induced hallucination.
I know I'm not their target audience, for I find little to interest me
in how a phone rings, and even if you don't agree with my opinion on
their creations, I do think they overdone it with the Ads.

seems like everyone is using these tones these days, awful i know, but thats life. i've gone back to a standard "ring ring" tone
which nowadays is unheard of.

I have nothing against people having personalised ringtones, but can't for
the life of me understand why people pay so much for them when it relatively
straightforward to make your own, and I understand even less why anyone
would want to pay to have the same ringtone as everyone else.

Silly sad persons.

Agreed.

Seems weird to me that most have mentioned the music channels ( Which I
don't watch...What's the point of getting No1 just by flashing the most
clevage,Certainly a crap way of doing it?)

So that's how Tony Christie & Peter Kay got "is this the way to Amarilo"
back to no 1.
Urgh, what a thought, Tony Christie & Peter Kay competing to show the most
cleavage.
