Sadly for you, it's not even up to primary school English
standards. Also, insulting the people you wish to help you does
not really
encourage people "be helpful", as you put it.

yeah well it's the only replying and i doubt he posts anything
useful to anyone else's threads. might correct there spelling for
them maybe.

Can we stop picking on people just because they don't spell or
punctuate properly? It's not that terrible a sin after all. Some
people just can't do it, so shall we exclude them from saying
anything? I don't think so! The widescreen question is a valid one
- there really ought to be more.

thank you! i didn't mean to be so rude but IMO he is, i could have
learning difficulties before he know's! i don't i just can't be
bothered to type at a oxford degree level sorry.

just fed up with people on newsgroups and forums going on about bad
spelling! maybe i should type in txt speak next time

It's nothing to do with spelling, lets take a look at your post
again,

widescreen?

Nearly all the Sky channels show programmes in widescreen except Sky News and
Sky travel.

As for the other broadcasters, I believe UKTV's channels will be next to go
Widescreen, when I do not know.

I think you will have to ask the broadcasters of each of the channels, as it's
not as if Sky has control over it's competitors!

I'm not sure why they don't show adverts in widescreen though, as ITV
and Channel 4 have done since 1 July 2001 (I think)...

As for the other broadcasters, I believe UKTV's channels will be next to go
Widescreen, when I do not know.

Soon, hopefully!
