Thus spaketh Vamp:
anyone know if any of the sky channels will be switiching to widescreen? ****ing me off as there's like a handful that are really! to many showing films in pan and scan! would have thought sci fi would have gone widescreen at least. Nearly all the Sky channels show programmes in widescreen except Sky News and Sky travel. As for the other broadcasters, I believe UKTV's channels will be next to go Widescreen, when I do not know. I think you will have to ask the broadcasters of each of the channels, as it's not as if Sky has control over it's competitors! |

Nearly all the Sky channels show programmes in widescreen except Sky News and Sky travel. I'm not sure why they don't show adverts in widescreen though, as ITV and Channel 4 have done since 1 July 2001 (I think)... As for the other broadcasters, I believe UKTV's channels will be next to go Widescreen, when I do not know. Soon, hopefully!
