Thinking of cancelling Sky sub - what channels I'm I left with

Stongly considering doing this, what channels will I definatly still be
getting without any sky rip off subscription ? Can anyone confirm (who has
maybe also cancelled) I will still receve the following :-

BBC 1,2,3,4
ITV 1,2,,3
Ch 4
Five
All ITV regions on other channels
All BBC 1 regions
Reality TV
(QVC)

Plus any others not that I'm bothered ?

How many times have I seen this asked? Anywho, take your card out now. Go
from Channel 101 to Ch 999 and make a note of what you see without the card.
Then add ITV1, ITV2, Ch4, Ch5 and that is what you will get when you cancel!

Go do it now. )

Oh, and despite what Sky may tell you, you will NOT lose ITV1, ITV2, Ch4 &
Ch5. That is just a ploy to get you to part with either £20 for a freesat
card, or to scare you into keeping your subs!

ITV1 or 2 or CH4 or Five, think you are a bit optimistic

Hmm well I've done this and what do I get just BBC 1 and 2 plus ITV 3.

Plus well over 200 FTA channels between 119-999.

Not optimistic - you just misread the post. The reason that you need to
"add ITV1, ITV2, Ch4, Ch5 and that is what you will get when you cancel"
to the list of channels you made when you went through them all, is
because after you cancel, your viewing card will turn into a Freesat
card which you use to decrypt ITV1, ITV2, Ch4, Ch5. You still need to
keep it to use for those four encrypted FTV channels. The other 200 FTA
channels are FTA so need no card.
