Default Some sound from tuner coming through on AV sources with Panny 36PD50

Hi,

I setup my Dads Panny 36PD50 for him last night and noticed a rather
annoying problem.

If you watch a DVD (DVD Player plugged into AV4 running in RGB mode) you can
still here very quietly whatever channel you left the TV on before switching
over to AV4.

I remember reading something about this a long time ago so I am guessing it
is a common problem.

Any ideas how to get rid of it?

I have tried changing the channel to an untuned one and you can here
hissing. We are using a Thor Scart lead.

Thanks,

Andy

Just a wild guess. The TV may be outputting its own tuner back up the
SCART lead, and it's crosstalk.

Get a cheap lead, and try removing 1 and 3 at the TV end. If this cures
it, do the same to your expensive lead.

My old Philips allowed you to switch this feed to sources on the other
inputs for dubbing purposes, so if your set offers similar you might find
changing the default cures the problem.
