Getting sky+ in next week but want to put the cables under the floor which i
am fitting before the sky installation. I want to run in the cables prior to
the sky engineer coming, is there a spec on the cable type to use and what
is the best for pic quality, i think i will need two cables from the LNB for
Sky + is this correct

Thanks

Chris

I believe some bad reports have been posted on this group about the *two* or
twin coax in one cable (Too thin or prone to break)
So I guess that answers your last question as you'll need two cables for
Sky+, There's actually four inputs on the LNB so you can add either one Sky+
box and two normal Sky boxes or two Sky+ boxes.
Just opt for the best quality you can get from your local electrical shop
really (or of course on line)

You could get the area ready for the installer as I did (Remove any
floorboards etc) and just tell him where you need the cables running.

For good results use SAT100 cable. You should have no trouble finding
it.

Yes. The Sky+ LNB has 4 outputs so why not run another cable or two to
bedrooms etc. where you could use a box with FTV card?
