Default Daewoo DS700 from Tesco

Anyone bought one of these as I can't find much info about them. Any good?

They appear to have 2 scarts but wondered if they had 7 day EPG?

Thanks
Mezza

If it's a Daewoo I doubt very much if it has a 7 day EPG.

I've had one for a while, bought it as I couldn't find one that
definitely did what I wanted for peanuts.

Cost me £40, never locked up, 7 day epg works great, data, text, the lot!!!!

You can actually switch off the data services, text and the like which
gets rid of them annoying red dots :-)

If it was that great why did you only have it for a while?

"I've had one for a while" = I have had one for a while and still do.
(have = present tense)

"I had one for a while" = I had one for a while and no longer do. (had =
past tense)

Welcome to the wonderful world of badly constructed sentences. Enjoy
your stay.

Thanks Tim.

Just bought one of these Daewoo Ds700 from Tesco and can confirm that it
gives 8 day EPG straight out of the box. ( even though no sign of such on
the box or the Daewoo site
http://www.daewooelectronics.co.uk/g...tv_digital.htm )

The power supply is a 5v plug type and therefore the box runs cold so no
heat issues! Has been on for past 24 hours.

I live in an area which isn't supposed to receive Freeview yet this little
box gives me a quality of 10 on every channel!

I'll keep an eye on it and report back any other info.

What's it like for dealing with impulsive interference?

Can you be a bit more specific?

Er -- no, not really. I mean susceptibility to motor bikes going past,
lawn mowers in the offing. These seem to cause blocky breakups on my
Setpal box.
