Default sky transfer

Hi
Just a question am sure other have had the same questions but I cant find
any threads that say so.
I have just put my house up for sale in the western isle.
www.nortons.flyer.co.uk
If I sell and move what is the procedure with sky, I can refit the dish my
self have done that a few times after the odd gale.
Or am I better just taking out a new subscription.
And if the house I buy already has a dish on would there be a problem going
for a new subscription?

Thanks
Les

You normally just phone up Sky who will charge you £40 for a new dish to be
installed, and you leave your old one where it is.

You could take out a new subscription and install, but you'd have to pay the
full price for a new box and install, over £200.

You could take out a new subscription, if you use a different name and bank
details, and do not mention whatsoever you have had Sky before. As you only
get one subsidised box and install.

If there is already a dish in the new home, you just plug your existing box in
and watch, just phone Sky up with your new address.

You are supposed to continue your sub and to inform Sky of the move.
You can fit the box to an existing dish (or even install your own) or
Sky will do it for you for a small fee.

Many would take the opportunity of getting a free new box and dish by
canceling the old sub before moving and signing up as a new
subscriber.

When I moved house I just rung up and got a new install and new box.
If you get the full package you might as well go for the new install.
Free install
Free Kit
and 3 months half price for the full package. whereupon you can drop down to
the family package after that..

Joe.
