Default did Sky upgrade today?

I came home from work today and switched on the Sky box to watch the
news and found that it have reverted to the Sky information channel. I
thought maybe I had a power cut, but the UPs on the computer did not
show any problems in the logs and also my alarm clock is still set.
So did Sky do an upgrade or did not the box just decide to reset for
some reason?

If you have noticed your Sky box more unstable than usual, the chances are
they did

Try the signal test. If the strength is good, but quality is non exsitent
and lock is off then you could be suffering from sun spot activity like i
have recently. The box would start on the Sky info channel every time i
turned it on.
