Anyone seen this? A power cycle hasn't cured it.
Symptom. Enter Sky+ planner. Mark programmes to be copied with red button, then enter select. Up comes message about putting VCR in record mode then pressing select. Get very brief message (1 sec) showing programs I have marked to be copied and total length. Then it goes back to Sky+ planner view. Nothing starts playing. Had this once before, cured by a power cycle. Workaround is just to start playing back the programs one at a time and record. -- Tumbleweed email replies not necessary but to contact use; tumbleweednews at hotmail dot com |

I had this the first time I used the facility - to me it seemed like I was pressing the select twice without realising it. I did it eventually without rebooting - I've done it a few times since I changed the remotes batteries and had no problems. Have you tried to use the select button on the front of the box rather than the remote? |

I find that what I consider to be a normal press of the button produces the behaviour you describe - appears to operate as a double-press at this point. A lighter touch cured the problem. |

You are right, I just tried, its my macho big thumb doing the damage :-) -- Tumbleweed email replies not necessary but to contact use; tumbleweednews at hotmail dot com |
