CableCARD HD TiVo to ship in '06

According to Mike Ramsay, they expect to ship a CableCARD TiVo with HD
capability in early 2006. I find it disappointing that they're not going
to have it ready for the 2005 holiday season. Hopefully, by the time it
ships, the SA8000HD will have annoyed people to the point where they're
ready to upgrade to something that works properly.

The only good thing is that by that time my wife won't veto buying another
Tivo (SA Series2 bought in November, 2002).

Think of it as an extended MRV (Multi-Room Viewing). Not limited to
just shows stored in other TiVos in your house, but being able to
access the servers at Netflix.
