Default How many DVHS titles are out right now?

Checked amazon.com and found 9 DVHS titles. Is there another online
distributor with more variety? About how many DVHS titles are currently out
in the market?

Can DVHS do 1.85:1? Thanks for all replies.

Based on the demo I have seen, I would not invest in D-VHS at this point:

Hang on there! D-theater and D-VHS are not the same thing! When I record
my HD programming from Direct TV using a modded STB with firewire to my JVC
D-VHS deck, I am getting a perfect recording. The best playback possible is
with the firewire fed into a samsung T165 using the Samsung's DVI output...

For recording HD coming over Direct TV, the JVC D-VHS is perfect.

What that article is specifically referring to is the D-theater encoding of
HD video compared to the Windows Media Series 9 encoding. The WM9 encoding
is virtually artifact free.

But as far as recording on the JVC HD-VHS (this is not D-theater encoding)
it is a perfect solution, especially when using it with a samsung T165 for
the DVI output.
