Default Nebula DigiTV flickering

Hi everyone,

On my Nebula DigiTV I sometimes get quite a bit of flickering, particularly
around the edges of the picture. It's when I have the 'Deinterlace Method'
set to 'Bob'. Sometimes if I change the size of the window slightly when it
isn't full-screen, the flickering goes away. On the programme I'm watching
at the moment though it just won't go away at all. There are 2 other
settings in the version of the software I have (3.104) but both make any
movement in the picture look quite rough and jerky, so 'Bop' is by far the
best option apart from the flickering.

Does anyone else get this please? Are there any settings in my graphics card
maybe that could help this go away? There are SO many advanced settings for
my graphics card and most of them mean nothing to me!

Thanks,
Geoff.

That's the way bob works, for best results use the line average setting
which is a blend between bob and weave. Weave offers the best quality when
there isn't movement between 2 fields (film sourced material such as -
films) but will show "combing" (horizontal lines) when used with video
sourced material (TV shows mostly) where there is a difference between
fields. Nebula say that more advanced deinterlacing is planned for the
future which will improve it further.
