I know some of the newer Sony IDTV's have been updated over the last few
weeks along with the new Sony freeview box which I bought as a Christmas
gift, but does anyone know if Sony will be updating software for the

older
sets, ie the DS60 range ?

I'd like to know, too. I have a DS20 (the 50Hz version of your TV).

At the moment I cant get the News multi screen, MHEG etc is slow compared

to
the Freeview box which is lightning in comparison, plus I cant seem to

get
Hits TV anymore despite several retunes, and searching manually.

Same here, and it crashes when "sorting" after doing the automatic
tuning. And I can't get pictures on BBC Parliament either

Mike,

It would be an idea if you emailed Sony as well, more that do for our older
sets may help them to pull their finger out! I used the contact section on
the main Sony Site.

The DTG website has now finally been updated to show next week's
downloads, but it only mentions iDTV2 (DX40, DX100, NX100, DX150 &
NX200) and iDTV1 (DS60U & DS65U). No sign of my DS20 or your DX20 :-(

19th to 26th they said

I will check nearer the time

Then Sony will be saying "Oh no not him again"

But then I have a lot of their stuff, a few VCRs (proper Sony ie Beta &
Super Beta), DVD, DD Receiver, DV Camera, 3 TVs, MD, car MD.

And I remind them when necessary - however next DVD Denon or Pioneer unless
Sony support DVD-A
