Panasonic IDTV TX28DT4
Great picture but it seems to have a problem with its digital side. We have good reception but it seems to lose its DVB tuning for no reason. Switch off and come back to find the digital "side" of the set has been lost. Re-tune by scanning for channels and it works well. The analogue side does not de-tune. We have an older Panasonic also giving us Freeview via a Nokia box. Each time the IDTV Panasonic fails I have checked and found that there's good signal. The software update function says that the set is up-to-date. (Ver 1) Ideas?? |

Does the set have a menu option to return it to Shipping Condition in the Setup menu? I had a similar problem with my TX32DT30. Fixed it by returning it to shipping condition, immediately switching off and unplugging from the mains for a couple of minutes. When I switched it back on, it auto tuned all channels and has been fine ever since. -- Phil |
