Default Panasonic TUCT30 - advice

Check out the DTT forum on digitalspy

http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/...b2653dbds.html

There's a lot of good discssion and you can search for threads about
specific manufacturers products.

Please does someone in the group have a full specification
for the Panasonic TUCT30 (dimensions, power output ...)

Is it possible to 'list' freeview channels - does the remote
have this function?

Has anybody anything unpleasant to say about this model - or for it?

I do not have a freeview box yet but have narrowed my current search to:

Panasonic TUCT30 (much smaller, I believe) than most other boxes
Goodmans GDB 3 (heard good reports but a larger box)
Echostar T101 (very sensitive, compact but no audio out)

Help and advice warmly received by one new to Freeview

I have the model and it is excellent.

It has two scarts (VCR scart is RGB in).
3.5mm stereo ouput (replaces phono output from TUCT20)
7 day EPG ready
24 event timer

The only one downside is the two scarts is very close together. They
haven't made the box bigger from the tuct20 which only has one scart. I
couldn't get two chunky scarts in the sockets. Luckily, I has a smaller
scart.

I have used it for 10 days without any problems. It replaced a Philips
DTR1500 which kept breaking up on ITV and Channel 4.

It cost me £99.99 so it is expensive compared to some models. It is worth
it though.

The Sagem is also excellent at just £59.99 from woolies and safeway.

The new Pace DTR210T is the one to get - twin scarts, optical digital out,
comes out of standby in less than a second - all in a small compact package.
Only £69 from empire direct.

- Simon.
