Default Uncle Rupert & Uncle Sam

Rupert Murdoch was interviewed on the news today over threats that the Sun
"newspaper" might back the Tories in the next UK General Election.

Much of what was said was a matter of opinion, however Rupert seemed to lose
the plot a bit over Europe. After praising Blair over his support for Bush
he said that he was worried about "OUR" country's government becoming bound
by the [federalising] EU constitution.

Now Rupert was of course once an Australian citizen, and as such his country
shared our Queen as head of state, although as he was being interviewed by
the BBC, I doubt he was confused about which country was our or for that
matter his country.

More recently however Rupert has IIRC become a citizen of the United States
of America. Whether he did this in order comply with media ownership rules
in the USA is a matter of speculation, but in any event in order to become a
citizen of the USA he would have to SWEAR to "Uphold and defend the
constitution of the [federal] United States of America" - the very same oath
that an incoming president of that country swears on assuming office.

Naturalising US citizens used to have to renounce their "birth" citizenship,
so perhaps Rupert has renounced Her Majesty the Queen. I think we should be
told.

Perhaps the Murdoch family might like to review their allegiances... and
stop trying to tell us how to run our country as opposed to whatever country
they choose to be citizens of.

Of course the possibility of free trade in Sat TV service across a more
closely united EU had nothing whatsoever to do with his hard to comprehend
stance...

Evidently,Blair or the governemnt has *upset* the guy over some
deal...Perhaps FTV cards or something else that the greedy git lost a bit of
cash on :-)

Well,Murdoch thinks he rules the world so *OUR* would be mentioned no matter
which country he was speaking in or about!

Now Rupert was of course once an Australian citizen, and as such his

country
shared our Queen as head of state, although as he was being interviewed by

Yep,Ex-criminal decendents as we can all see..He just uses his daily rags to
get public opinion on his side for those MP's that tend NOT to change laws
to help him further with his satellite scam!

As in to buy *DirecTV* and no doubt more companies in the U.S as time goes
by.

Naturalising US citizens used to have to renounce their "birth"

be
told.

Just need to hang the whole family for treason ;-)

Perhaps they all have the *views* of the country they happen to be speaking
from,Anything to con the governments!

His stance is very easy to comprehend to a Eurosceptic.
