Hi all,
My Sky+ Rev.2 box has recently started adding programmes to the list of things to be recorded. At first I thought it might have been finger trouble and someone was accidentally selecting things to record while browsing through the channel listings. However, when I switched on the TV this morning, I found two programmes scheduled to record that have appeared since last night. Nobody else used the TV or Sky+ since I switched it off. The two programmes were Robbie Williams at Knebworth on Channel 4 and Top of the Pops on BBC1, but from a different BBC region (East - I think). I am absolutely certain that nobody else in the house could have scheduled either of these. The really bizarre thing is that both of these had the 'keep' and 'series link' flag set. That can't happen by accident. It is just me or are other Sky+ users getting this also? Are Sky telling the box to add these? Anybody got any ideas? HVB -- |

Are Sky telling the box to add these? Doesn't sound like something Sky would do. More likely the channels in question have re-used an old series link identifier which your box was looking out for. (Perhaps from a programme which you did have an old 'keep' series link for?) |

I think Zero Tolerance hit the nail on the head (thanks!). The codes for series link could be getting re-used for different programmes after a period of time, and your Sky+ box is still looking for them long after the series you intended to record has finished its run. Seems to make the most sense. HVB. |

(or my 7yr old faffing with the remote!) I had a series link for something on zee TV (whatever that is) and a series link for the ITV news where Emmerdale should have been. A bloody nuisance! -halli- |
