Default [Discovery] 8 minute experts presents....

At about 6:50am, the Discovery Channel shows a short programme called "8
minutes experts presents..."

at 6:50am every morning, I am either at work or still asleep, so I catch the
programme very rarely.

It never appears on the EPG. Its like a short filler programme.

Almost every time I see it, its "How to Build A Rocket".
It stars a small alien trying to build one to get home.

What other programmes are there in the series, and is there a way to put it
in my Personal Planner (so that I can record them)

Don't know what other programmes there are, but if it isn't in the EPG
you can record it manually.

Go to ServicesManual Recording then enter the channel number (it will
find the channel name), the time to record and the frequency of the
recording. If you set it up for weekly, daily or Mon-Fri it will keep
recording it until you take it off the planner.

I use this frequently for radio programmes, which also don't appear on
the EPG.

IS this just a Sky+ thing, as I don't have that option on my ordinary
sky box?

What you can do though is set an autoview reminder for the previous and the
next programmes set your video and it should record it

IIRC you don't need your Sky box on, it will power up and shut down
automatically
