Default Horror Channel

What does the Horror on the Horror channel refer to ?
How unbelievably bad the quality of the picture is in this digital age ?
The acting and direction of the films, if they ever had a director ?
Or why has somebody wasted money transmiting this channel ?

I agree, this channel is a disappointment.

I hoped it would contain CLASSIC horror movies...

The Fly (original)
The Fly (Jeff Golblum)
Alien
Dr Terror's House of Horrors
Poltegeist
Jaws
The Thing (original)
The Thing (remake)
The Exorcist
King Kong
Halloween (all movies)
Nightmare on Elm Street (all movies)
The Shining
The Blob
Amityville Horror

To name but a few..
So many classic B&W scary movies are out there.
There are so many horror movies created that it would be easy to have a
Movie Channel dedicated to this genre.

I guess their budget cannot afford the big horror names.

Other than my movies, Name 10 more that you would like to see on a
dedicated Horror Channel.

Brendan

Rupert Murdoch does Britiain.
Rupert Murdoch does America
(add eight other countries he's screwed) ;-)

There's always the all time horror classic *Son of Murdoch* too

Replace your choice of *The Blob* with *The Red Blob and that'll make people
cringe the most! 0_0

According to Companies House, The Horror Channel is currently in
administration (some rumours have suggested debts of around £400,000) so
it's future is looking rather bleak at the moment...

Not really suprised, when annouced I thought great I will definatley watch.
After a couple of weeks I gave up.
I suppose starting a new channel your in a catch 22 situation, can't get ad
revenue because you don't have any viewers and you can't get the viewers
because you don't have the money to pay for the prog's that the viewers will
watch - so no ad revenue.
I see from another thread that Granada Plus is in trouble, any truth in
that?

totally agree! some of the movies shown are just utter rubbish! seems to
be the real old stuff they like to show but not the classic old stuff just
totally unknown amatuer stuff. such a waste of a great channel idea
