Default Satellite shops in Brussels, Belgium

Hey,

I am setting my sister in Brussels up with a Sky Digital system.

I figure 60cm is large enough for the dish, but it turns out it is more
costly to ship a dish & LNB from the UK or Ireland to Belgium than it will
be to just buy on there.

Can anyone who lives in Belgium (or specifically Brussels) recommend any
good electronic shops where I can have her buy a dish (with digital LNB)
in advance of my visit to align and set up the digibox?

Any help much appreciated,

Freq,

You can find dish kits at most of the supermarkets, Carrefour
especially.

If you want to go to a dedicated sat shop head down to a superb close
to the city centre called Schaerbeek and find Rue de Brabant. It's a
long shopping street and there are at least 10 sat shops there,
selling everything you need to set up, most have dishes outside so you
can't miss them. This is the Arab area of town and I'm not sure how
good English is spoken there or on that point your sister's
French/Flemish, but I'm sure she can get by!

The average size dishes that I saw when down there on Sunday was 90cm.

Good luck,

Noel

Freq,

I watch Sky with a 35/40 cm dish in Belgium, 40km north of Antwerp. So 60 or
90 is more than enough.
