Default Macrovision

Is it possible to overcome the macrovision signal on Sky Box Office films?
I'm not saying I want to break the law of course. Who would?

It is possible to overcome any macrovision signal.

I'm not saying I want to break the law of course. Who would?

What law? The Macrovision act 1990? There is no such law in this
country!

It's definitely NOT breaking the law to do so, if the reason you want to
overcome it is to time-shift the programme for viewing at a more
convenient time. TiVo does this when it records Box Office programmes
for example. (it then adds its own Macrovision onto the playback of that
recording)

Simply buying a device ile here will do it:

www.sontel.com

It's simply a Scart to Scart plug only one side has a micro circuit inside
the plug and powered by a 9V power supply.
