Freeview through Sky.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I have looked through previous
posts.

I would like to downgrade to what I suppose is the the 'Freeview' service.
However, I live in an area where my aerial reception is poor and does not
support the set top box flavour I see advertised.

Can I cancel my Sky subscription leaving just the freeview channels and pay
nothing?

No. ITV2 and UKHistory (to name but two) wouldn`t be available if he
cancelled sky.

If you cancel the subscription you will receive ITV1, Channel4 and five,
plus everything you can currently view if you remove the card.

This is a FAQ. Freeview is not satellite and, as such, the channels
are different but the answer is broadly "yes".

Because they are lying ****es who try to con people out of yet more money by
making them think they'll lose ITV etc unless they pay £12ish p/m. I hate
to think how many people have been caught out by that one and are still
paying £12 p/m for something that is free!!!

If you phone Sky and say you are thinking of cancelling Sky, they will
often make you reduced price offers to keep you as a customer. for a
limited period then full price If people do decide to cancel, Sky are
also contacting people to offer incentives to return to Sky. It's been
