Default Andy Gray talks through his backside

Anyone else getting fed up with Andy Grey on Sky Sports.
When are SKY going to replace this has-been with someone who has something
of value to add to the programme.

Andy Grey winds me up. He's so biased. He worships Man Utd. Sack him, I say.
Now!

Andy Grey cannot be sacked, he doesn't work for Sky.
Andy Gray on the other hand....

He is one of the best pundits around.
The clowns on BBC and ITV are rubbish, and know little, and what they do say
is crass.

Gray and Tyler are superb!

Well said rachel/neil (weekend name)??? Nothing is worse than having to
watch a football match with the likes of John Motson or Mark Lawrence on
commentary. During Euro 2004 I had to put sky on radio 5 to get the speaker
feed and put BBC1 on mute just to get rid of his voice... the same goes for
James Allen for Formula 1. Andy Gray provides relevant and informative
commentary and is well worth keeping around.

I think he's good too.

His episode of "The Boot Room" years ago where he got a manager
(Pleat?) to break down how he was approaching a cup-tie, then followed
up with a studio run through after the game with manager and players
to assess how well it went still ranks as the best football analysis
I've seen on TV.

Neither Lawrenson nor Hanson could have led on a programme like that
in my opinion. And nor would the Beeb have had the balls to even try
it.

Yes, Andy Gray does favour Manchester United and Everton always.
He probably has been around for too long now and keeps repeating the same
rhetoric over and over.....

However, Mark Lawrenson is equally bad at drewling over Manchester United
and even when they play badly
he always puts them in a positive light just like Andy Gray does.

Both these have far outstayed their TV life and both should be replaced.

We pay an awful lot of pennies to watch SKY sports so come on SKY give us
our monies worth and make it a bit more interesting.

Thanks to Dave, (no, not weekend name, just look at the full email addy, and
laff if you can!), and Ken.

As for the reply above, not sure what to make of it Bob.

Andy Gray just loves good football. Arsenal are playing the most
entertaining football in Europe right now, and he (rightly) eulogises over
them more than Salford United, and his old team Everton.

You are having a wolly about Lawro aren't you? He loves, nah, worships
Liverpool, and no one else, and his pithy one-liners are worst than a
Northern Working Man's Club warm up act!

Replace them with who then? There aren't any pundits who could do the job as
well. Maybe James Richardson, of C4 Calcio fame, but no one else comes
close.....
