Default Sky's profits safe

I dont know if you remember me posting this message last week

-------------------------------------------------------

Cancelled Sky a couple of weeks ago, the Sky operator told me I did not have
anything else to pay them and my Sky TV would end on 15th of July. On the
understanding that I did not have anything else to pay I cancelled the
Direct Debit to Sky. Anyway got a letter from Sky today with a final
settlement, somehow they ended up owing me just under £4, however the
administrative charge for them telling me this is shown on the settlement as
£4. The net result is that I now owe them 0.23p !. So I have had to send a
cheque off today for the princely sum of 23p. They owe me £4 and I end up
owing them money. Don't you just love Sky

-------------------------------------------------------------

Well today the 23p cheque came out of my bank account so be assured that
Sky's profits are safe for another year

That's a bit strong over 23 pence isn't it? I think Sky made an arse of
themselves here not the OP.

I know but I could not be bothered with the hassle, anyway I would have
probably have ended up owing them even more money. So I lose my Sky in two
days, I don't think I will really miss it that much.

Sky, Trading Standards, the CA, the DTI, Ofcom and the DCMS would
never had heard the end of this had I been you.
