Default No Sat signal

Origonally had std. sky install Pace system, started getting lots of no
sat.signal and v.slow menus.
Fitted a Panasonic TUDSB40 and all was good, however after several mnths
started with the no sat.signal msgs frequently.
Have had ariel and cables checked, tried new LNB all to no avail.
Reset sys soooooo many times.
Its getting to the stage when we have to wonder if sky's worth it, before we
ditch it is there anything else to try?
Am in SE London suburbs, ie no tall buildings

I should add the 'no signal' extends across the range of channels and is not
limited to 22khz ones.

Is it constant or just when it's ****ing down. Lost everything night before
last thanks to the rain. played havoc with sky plus!

But my picture freezes even when it's not raining...

Check what's near your box. Mobile phones, cordless phones, PCs and
other things broadcast radio signals. Your Digibox,
just like other electrical appliances, picks up radio signals. Add
interference from these things and it can completely confuse
the box, causing picture freezes. See what happens if you move things
away from the digibox, or switch things off. "

To this you can add nearby car alarms, radar detectors, microwave
ovens, mobile phone masts etc. etc.

There is nothing near the box other than TV and vid.
All other appliances are in other rooms, no alarms, mobiles etc
No signal/channel loss occurs at random times and with random channels

I should add that neither we nor our neighbours have any other wireless
transmitting devices other than mobiles, and no one else seems to suffer
these probs.
