Default Sky+ recording bug?

Just experienced the following;

Tour de France (TDF) set to record at 7pm. Started to watch it live as well
by switching to 175 but caught the adverts before the TDF programme. Watched
TDF through to the end , may have paused it for a second or two at one point
because when I went to switch over, it asked me to confirm by pressing
select.

Now here is the weird bit. When I went to the recording listings, TDF wasnt
there. However, what was there was Emmerdale, 1 minute long (about as long as
its worth recording for, IMHO). Emmerdale was the program immediately before
the TDF. I'm not sure if this was a side effect of me watching it live
whilst recording and then pausing it, or its as if it started to record
channel 175 at the right time, but emmerdale was running late, so in effect
it said '"right I'm recording emmerdale....1 min later.....oh look emmerdale
has finished so I'll stop recording now."

I've experienced similar things. I'm sure its when you switch to watch live
after the recording has started, and you end up with a couple of minuts of
the previous programme.

In future I'll switch to the recording and start watching that, never had a
problem with that.
