Default SKY+ box on it's side !

Is it OK to use the SKY+ box on it's side in the
bottom of a TV cabinet ? Will it upset the disk
or cause early failure of the unit ?

I don't have enough space to sit the unit horizontally.
My SKY box has been like this for years with no problems,
but I thought I should check if this would be OK for the
SKY+ box.

There's plenty of ventillation available around the unit.
None of the ventillation slots will be covered.

Plenty of computers run on their sides without any issue so it should be OK.
Just dont move it on its side when its switched on.

I asked the installer on Friday about this, as I'm in the same boat. He said
that it's not a problem at all, and so far it isn't.

mark.
