Default O/T Wanadoo Broadband

Hi
I registered for Wanadoo Broadband just under two weeks ago.The modem
came very quickly and was installed straight away.I was told that it
should be activated within 10 days. That has not happened it is well
over 10 days now. I have tried emailing several different departments
but the answer that
comes back is nothing to do with my question.!
Am I being too impatient.
I should be grateful for any replies
Mary

Get another service provider, maybe NTL cable if available in the area..

They don't deserve your custom for messing you around..

Either way, I saw the smallprint in the ad stating that the service, for
£19.99/month, has a 2Gb MONTHLY limit. What a pile of crap.

I'm on Pipex which is £23.44/month (so 19.99+VAT) and has no limits.

I could use 2Gb in a day!

Fight back against "PRESS RED":

How crap is your postal service? Vent your spleen!

I certainly won't be staying with Wanadoo when I get broadband, probably try
Tiscali (no limit).
Regards Mike.

Stay well clear of Tiscali

I know of two people who have had it for about two months and both
have had nothing but problems. When you call them (Which i did for one
of them) you get a call center in India (I think, but it is not in the
UK) and someone who has no idea about PC`s let alone the Interent. She
tols me I needed to set up a new connection and told me to go to
search then search for `new connection` when I asked why not just go
to `nework Connections` via programmes she said that was not possible.
With that I just hung up.
I know all ISP`s have thier faults but stay clear of this one.
I have just moved from Demon to Pipex both are good, but Pipex was
slightly cheaper.

It would help if you got your facts right!!! It's actually £17.99/month - with
free modem and free connection.

: I'm on Pipex which is £23.44/month (so 19.99+VAT) and has no limits.

Good for you!

: I could use 2Gb in a day!

Many people don't need this ability! I know two people who independently have
chosen Wanadoo and who seem very happy with what they get (which is what they
need!!) for a price very close to that of anytime dial-up.
