Default Sky News Poll

Question:-
Will you vote in Thursday's euro elections?
I voted 'Yes'
The poll results:-
Yes 0.00%
No 100.0%

The whole Sky polling system is obviously a complete fiddle and totally
worthless.
It's more like a poll in Zimbabwe where Mugabe decides the poll result
before it's taken place.
Regards Mike.

Also I find it's sometimes possible to vote twice on one item.

So, if it is obviously rigged then they are taking money under false
pretences and as such should be busted for it!

If Mike can prove that he voted Yes, and that when he looked at the poll
(after) that is was 0% for the Yes vote, then Sky are obviously scamming and
fleecing people out of money.

How, because the poll vote costs money. It needs to connect therefore it is
taking money by deception.

Mike you if you can prove it then complain to Ofcom.

What did Mike or yourself expect to happen? A Sky News Poll isn't going to
change the world. Someone is taking the **** here, I can't decide if it is
Sky News or Mike. If Sky really did ask the question "Will you vote in
Thursday's euro elections?" in their poll then that is a genius mind at
work. If Mike made that question up then well done to him too.

If Mike can prove that he voted Yes, and that when he looked at the poll

Unless it doesn't update in real time? Unless it is rounded to the nearest
whole percent? Unless Sky don't really care what you or Mike think and are
just running the poll for the money. Why does it matter though?

Why is it deception? What did Sky promise in return for the 25p (is it still
25p?) that Mike paid? As far as I know they promised nothing. Mike paid 25p
for nothing and got nothing. It seems fair to me.

Mike you if you can prove it then complain to Ofcom.

Or vote in Big Brother instead.

It could all be down to maths.

say 120,000 people vote and Mike and 4 others vote "Yes" then the maths is
:- 5 divided by 120,000 (or 5/120,000) = .00416%, which when rounded
(down) makes 0.00%

That doesn't explain why when you select that particular poll from the list
of available polls, you can get a 50%/50% result.

Plus, the "is it the end for Blair?" result was showing 100% 'no' after I
voted, and I can't believe that's an accurate reflection of the votes cast
(especially for Sky News viewers)!

Well, in an on-line poll about the London mayoral election, the BNP
candidate was on 28%, whereas in the actual voting, he got 3%...
