Default Sky Billing Query

okay, so I'm on top whack £40 a month sky world.

End of the footy season (15 May ish) I dropped Sports (hell I only save £6 a
month - but no use sky having it).

Got my credit card bill this month and I got charged £40 on 30th May.

Guy on the phone said I should get a pro-rata refund on the half-month of
May so....

do sky take payments in advance or arrears?

if arrears I should be charged £37 (£40 for May - £3 rebate)

if advance I should be charged £31 (£36 for June - £3 rebate on May)

This right? Any advice welcome before I ring up and shout at them.

cheers

You`re always ahead (they`re not daft) and if you throw it in they refund
the difference. Your second example is correct. If it doesn`t happen get on
to them.
