Default Embedded Red Dot

It's started !

Last night on BBC 1 I saw a trailer for the D-Day coverage. There was a Press Red
DOG. I went to press Back Up to remove it, but no luck. Then I realised it was
in the transmitted picture, and not added by the box.

Only a trailer for now of course, but........................................

I would guess that as it was in the transmitted picture and not removable by
you, then they must have screwed up at their end.I can't see it being a
permanent thing,I mean, why would they show a red dot which cant be used or
removed by the viewer, unless it was a mistake ?

On Monday will they also have a "D-Day+1" logo, and then "+2", etc.?
