Default *ANOTHER* Sky price hike in September!

Used to be just once a year - seems they are trying every 8 months now!

Perhaps tied into the expansion of the footy coverage then with an
increase in the sports package and the world package.
I'm no fan of price rises (just downgrade my NTL cable modem due
to a £3 a month rise) but if there is a corresponding increase in content
then some rises can be justified.

Of course if the packages that go up in September go up again in January
and there isn't any obvious reason then SKY deserve to lose subscribers
and they surely will.
I suppose it will make a change to see the group flooded with "I'm going to
cancel SKY, blah blah blah" a few months earlier than usual

I will bet it is because of sport that it is going up again, what they
should do is lower everybody who does not have sports and up sports, I'm
sick of paying for someone else to see some football match.

Apparently, the sports packages are remaining the same. However, all the
packages with films in are going up by £1 as Sky reckon their £1 billion
profits could have been higher if it wasn't for their G1 package error.
£1billion not enough for them? MUPPETS!

FWIW, Sky paid ever so slightly LESS for their football rights this time
around, with more games, so they CANNOT use that as an excuse (Especially as
it was splattered all over the press at the time)

If Sky raises the family pack to more than £20 a month, they can **** right
off, the old ITV Digital box will be dug out and the Sky digibox binned,
along with the extremely rusty "mini"dish

I feel that it's an odd time for sky to be making this decision - most of
the shows I've been following have either finished or are almost over
anyway. The summer months traditionally show a pile of crap, ready for the
new season (and price hike) in January.

Usually I fall under the "well, I want to watch the new seasons of 24 and
Alias so I won't jack it in" mentality, but at the moment - what the heck.
There's ****e all on, and for £20/m I could get broadband and download
anything I fancy watching regardless.

Cue the stampede from the G1 package back to just sports

Can you explain exactly where you would download this from?
