i have sky+ still under a year old and just seen a free sky+ sub free on a
advert on tv
would i albe to down to the family pack without paying that £10 extra and
still keep the recording bits and bobs
the package i am on is the sky sports world with free movies in which the
movies go off in september

It would depend upon the terms of the offer, I suspect it would only apply
to new subscribers as a lure to get them to sign up or it was simply the
usual free SKY+ sub with two premium channels.
You do get the SKY+ fee waived if you are only on SKY sports world
so you will be fine if you drop the movies (G1 deal runs out?).

I could be wrong but I think you've got to look at the small writing at the
bottom of the screen!
Something along the lines of "This offer is only available to those that
subscribe ot at least 2 sky premium channels". I've got the subscription
free, but then I do have all the movies.
