Does this mean that there are actually _still_ FTV people who do nothing all day
except activate FTV cards?

Not much activation now but there is still someone on that phone
number for problems, faulty cards etc. The cards are guaranteed for
another 19 months, after all.

I'm glad to hear it. I was wondering what would happen with faulty cards etc.

Didn't the scheme end on 31st January? So they should be guaranteed for the next
21 months.

The webpage said until at least the end of 2005, not 2 years.

That's a bit sneaky because all the other publicity around the FTV cards whether
free Solus replacement cards or 23.50 GBP rip-off ones from Free2view all
mentioned a life of at least two years.
