......showing french subtitles on the film they are showing now, 9.45pm
Monday 26th April?

Dave, Oldham.

PS The film looks like its from 1920 and the print is awful - oh and the big
DOG in the corner..............

Probaby because the film is from the 1920 period (only joking, but it
is a very old film), and was probably originally subtitled when
produced

No, the subtitles look very "added on" after, and "on top" of the original
picture.

And yes, the 20's picture is very very poor quality.

However, I have to add that the older style films (50yrs+) have a certain
feel about them - the crackly audio and print and just feels right watching
it that way.

My wife (23) watched some of the tests last night and is hooked already!

"How can I view the tests on the Horror Channel?"

Well, I will just add to this thread and give this relevant information...

Press "SERVICES"
Then 4 (System Setup)
Then 4 (Add Channels)
Enter 11224 (for the frequency)
Change V to H for Polarisation (using left/right keys)
Then select "Find Channels"

Highlight "52007" and press YELLOW to put a tick.

The Horror Channel Test Transmission is now available by pressing "SERVICES" followed by "OTHER
CHANNELS"

I hope this info is useful.

I enjoyed Nothing But The Night with Diana Dors and a young 'Cassandra' from
Only Fools and Horses,last night,hadn't seen that one before!
