Default Sky Plus Question

Just moved up to 'plus', previously have used 'switch off mains for a while'
and 'full reset via backup button' to cure any ills with normal sky digital.

Will either / both of these still work on 'plus' and if so what effect would
they have of recorded items / programmed recording for the future?

Thank for any help

Switch off via mains; Yes / none as long as it wasnt recording at the time.
Full reset via backup button: Dunno, what is that option? Sky+ has its own
full reset equivalent, that will nuke all recordings.
