Default Sky > Sky+ upgrade questioins..

I have the basic Sky "Family" package, £19.50 (used to be £13, that's
how much it's gone up...)

Anyhows, The dish/box is knackered, so I am considering "upgrading" to
Sky+, if the price is right...

I had a look at the Sky website, and I am now more confused that before
I started.. Can anyone tell me, in simple terms, how much a upgrade to
Sky+ will be (taking into account any current promotional offers).

I don't want Movies, Don't want Sport, just the same package as I have
now, but on Sky+

Cheers...

Yep!..unless you go 4 a package that means its waived.

Actually, you can always stop paying the ten pounds if you want -- it's just
that you'll lose the HD record/playback functionality then and your system
will effectively be the same as a non-plus box. You're not stuck with
*having* to pay this once you move to Sky+.

Also, no one seems to have mentioned the £200 charge to purchase the box
(unless they've dropped this -- but I don't remember reading anywhere that
they have).

It is a good system that I'd personally recommend. Once you've had the
"pause and rewind live TV" feature you'll wonder how you ever did without
it. I keep going to use it on the radio in my car only to be disappointed
that it's not there..!

They haven't, of course. You can find boxes much cheaper elsewhere
though not with installation.

From any authorised Sky retailer.

Yes, once the two LNB feeds are connected and assuming that you
already have a Sky sub and card.
