Hasn`t this been the deal with sky for a long time now?

This offer includes a £1 saving on installation and a one month saving
on the subscription when compared with the regular Sky offer.

Simple the catch is *third rate programming* carrying loads more
advertising,awful DOGS and red dots.
The threat is if you unsubscribe, you can't even watch all the FREE FTA
terrestrial channels.

Perhaps Sky have managed to collect a batch of duff boxes that should
hopefully last just the 12 months as well and then go faulty leaving the
subby the shell out full price.

I prefer "perhaps Sky have a batch of boxes that they'll knock out with a
dodgy piece of software code download just after the 12 months".
