I noticed it said freeview weekend on the EPG today. I'm sure it
said that last week though?

You should be able to, yes. They change the encryption key for the
weekend to one that non-F4 subscribers can decode.

It's amazing how they can show films in their correct ratio on those channels,
whereas they seem allergic to the possibility on C4.

I don't see fussy Freddies kicking up a stink when pop videos are shown in a
2.35:1 ratio, demanding those black bars be removed(!)
